JL is now 4-2in port battles, with 3 straight victories to date.
marcelle made the most amazing move i've seen in a while....
i guess ice had misunderstood our intentions and thought we were entering the town. however... the town was not open yet. so he rushes in there thinking he could just touch the dock and enter the town. however... he can't enter and is just stuck there with his bow facing the town and brits to port and starboard. the 3 or so brits to his port continue on.. and are cut down by the french forces following marcelle's ship. with a big fat alex in their way.. the rest of the brits start piling up on his starboard side.
that move totally stopped the front of the brit line. the back of the brit line that went in towards the main french line was ripped to shreds by 2nd and 3rd rates.
so basically.. while ice was holding blocking off like 8 ships allowing the french to dominate the remaining enemies. and at the end of all that... i see marcelle's alex sailing out of that big fracas.... surviving that battle.... lol
