This is how i am picturing the situation.
Street#1 is pretty wide i guess, hehe.
Street#2 is perpendicular to street#1.
Alley is parallel to Street#2
i suppose i could have drawn more citizens closer to the alley.
i didn't draw in the decorations dagon dropped to slow the unicorns.

also, when I posted
I was trying to be loud enough for those back in the inn to hear ..."Rolen, scout us a way through and out! Sorrin, get her through that window,
Fea, move it, follow Rolen. SEALAMIN, DAGON, DEMON AFOOT!... WE ARE LEAVING!"

the way i've drawn the layout, i suppose we could have gone back out onto street#1 and made a quick turn "south" instead of busting through the poor guy's house like we did.Skyscraper wrote: - house owner has had the improbable situation of the same demon pursuing enemies through his house in the same fashion twice in several days, which is quite funny Thank you Rolen for having led us there.

Hmm, I'm not sure Sealamin and Dagon would have heard. Per the order of posts, neither was out in the street yet when Discido yelled out (though Discido perhaps did not know that), but they were at the inn's door so they might still have heard.Parared wrote:also, when I postedI was trying to be loud enough for those back in the inn to hear ..."Rolen, scout us a way through and out! I'll let the two players decide whether their PCs heard it or not.

My mental image was essentially similar, minus the cartersian layout and the short distances. This works well for our purposes.mts wrote:This is how i am picturing the situation.

Re: OOC-III (Chapter 9 +)
looks like Sealamin wants to go south. the sounds coming from the house might be enough to convince him to go past the alley all the way down to street#2.Harrower wrote:Sealamin looks incredulously at Dagon
you are not thinking of leaving our companions without attempting to assist are you?
then before Dagon answers Sealamin moves toward the alley as quickly as he can while saying to the others
"Follow me"
OOC without knowing the nature of the danger facing the rest of the party and their responses to said danger I can not see Sealamin fleeing
it seems Dagon would like to go north of the inn and then head east, then back south to get to the other end of the alley. (where tattoo-eye originally came from.) i don't know if this is really "leaving" but its definitely a circuitous route that leads away from the commotion.Trick wrote:Dagon directs Sealamin and the retainers to take advantage of the situation by swinging around the far side of the inn, hoping to reach the other end of the alley and learn more of what transpires.

the Manor is 61 and in the north east quadrant.
we're currently at the Drunken Morkoth, 14, in the north west quadrant.

Awesome, thanks... lots of small numbers all of the place.... (and I got distracted finding the relevant other POIs).

I have a lot on my plate... Would anyone be willing to give the map a try? I recommend hacking available online maps and I have a couple that I could send you that might be helpful. But really, anything goes, you're in control of what you do if you're the one doing it, provided you follow the guidlines I'll be providing.
