Some details and an announcement have been made about the upcoming installment in the SimCity franchise: SimCity 5.
When the announcement was first made there was not much besides some concept art on the site, but there’s since been a pretty sweet video detailing the ins and outs of the new Glassbox Engine that the game uses.
One thing that I’m not to particular about though is that there are already 8 pieces of DLC listed and the game’s release date is more than a year away. This is even worse than ME3’s release-day DLC that everyone was up in arms about not too long ago. Still… if the base game is fun to play on it’s own, I won’t complain I probably just wont’ pick up the DLC.
