Early Access has begun for Star Wars the Old Republic players who preordered the game. We are going to be the “Womp Rat Snipers” on the PVP U.S. Eastern server “Iron Citadel” playing the Republic side. Join us for some Imperial ass-kicking or some good all around fun! See you on the other side of the Galaxy!
Everyone who preordered the game should be getting an email from Bioware letting us know that the date quickly approaches. Preorder players will be able to gain early access to the game on the 13th whereas normal players will get access to the game on the official launch date – Dec 20th.
If you’re a preorder player, you can go ahead and download the game client and have it installed for your early access on the 13th. Click on the download link in your email. If you have any questions about the early access head to swtor.com/early-access.
Season 11 PVP has begun and the new Darkmoon Faire is now available. Wowhead has a nice list of all the prizes, heirlooms, and mounts obtainable with the Faire as well as all the quests and mini games available. The new PVP gear is iLevel 403 and the old gear has been bumped down for easier availability to battleground-goers rather than arena players. That doesn’t mean that battleground players get the short end of the stick. The Daily BG now rewards 100 conquest for a win (up from 25) and every win after that awards 50.
