WoW has launched 4.3.2 on all the live servers this week. There’s a list of changes over on Blizzard’s Blog, but probably one of the most anticipated features is same-faction raids with Real ID friends. In addition to being able to group with Real ID friends cross-realm, you can now queue up for regular or heroic raids and dungeons and even battlegrounds! In a press release just sent out, Blizzard has announced that there will be no Blizzcon in 2012. Rather, there will be a different event for them to focus on, the 2012 Battle.net World Championship. This event is set to take place on around the end of this year in Asia (aww, boo!) with StarCraft II and World of Warcraft Arena World Championship tournaments.

Season 11 PVP has begun and the new Darkmoon Faire is now available. Wowhead has a nice list of all the prizes, heirlooms, and mounts obtainable with the Faire as well as all the quests and mini games available. The new PVP gear is iLevel 403 and the old gear has been bumped down for easier availability to battleground-goers rather than arena players. That doesn’t mean that battleground players get the short end of the stick. The Daily BG now rewards 100 conquest for a win (up from 25) and every win after that awards 50.
