Project Zomboid Major Setback

Project Zomboid is a zombie RPG type game that I posted about in the forums several months ago.

They’ve had issues before where a pirated copy of the game was draining their bandwidth every time a player clicked “update” on their cracked copy. One can argue the lost revenue of a pirated copy, but the additional bandwidth was directly costing them money and they had to take the game down.

The worst had yet to come it appears as their apartment was broken into last night and both laptops that were the development rigs were stolen and it appears that there was no offsite backup. This will be a major setback in the development of the game and could possibly spell the end of the project.

Pre-Expansion Events

I found this on Youtube and figured those of you who missed the Pre-Cataclysm invasion might enjoy watching it, and those that were there for it might enjoy remembering it.

I then began to search a bit to find some videos of the other expansion pack’s pre-launch events. Sorry for some of the music and horrible videos that may ensue… there aren’t a bunch of them out there and these were some of the only ones that weren’t blaring “LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOOOOOOOOOOR!”
