Sony dropped the price of the PS3 today down to $250. Might be worth it if you’ve been wanting a console system for a while but haven’t pulled the trigger on one. I use mine for the occasional Gran Turismo race and for loads of Netflix and Blurays. Source: Playstation.com

microsoft is going to see if they can get away with "negative features". (the kind of features you don’t want them to add.)
i’m worried that the same thing is going to occur that happened with sc2, d3, and simcity: people hem and haw loudly about not wanting always online DRM… but when the time comes… they buy those games anyhow.
I was thinking of grabbing one since the new Xbox was supposed to have a much better kinect sensor. I really enjoy the kinect.
But the always on DRM and price tag are starting to sway me towards not getting it at all.
A bit pricey for me and I do like to be able to play offline sometimes.
