Transmog Look-A-Likes

WoWhead has put together a cool list of items that look like other items but don’t have any class restrictions on them. Say you’re a rogue but want to look like you’re in Druid Tier 6?? No problem! Pick up this set of gear and mog your new gear to look like you’re in the Thunderheart Regalia!

Thanks to Blizzard’s habit of recycling models and textures among their items, you can virtually look like any of dozens of other-class gears. The cloth-cloth, leather-leather, mail-mail, plate-plate restrictions still apply to these items but you can certainly look like a Priest even though you’re a Warlock and look like a Paladin even though you’re a DK.

Feel free to pretend you’re in Destroyer Armor, RiftstalkerMagister’s Regalia, Vestments of the Devout, and more! Check out the whole list here.

Minecraft 1.8 Texture Pack

If you’re a texture pack-maker you might appreciate that Jeb released the texture packs for 1.8 a bit early so you can begin working on some of the changes that are coming to 1.8. He released the items.

Minecraft Mods & Patchers

We’ve got a whole section of the site dedicated to backed up Minecraft worlds from our JOB server and now we’ve added a section dedicated to Mods & Patchers for the game as well. These include MCPatcher HD for HD texture pack use, Optifine for the same thing but also refined graphics controls for increased framerate, Zombe’s Flight Mod and more.

We’ll keep it updated with new mods we use and think that others would enjoy as well as keeping them up to date as new patches come out and break mods or make them obsolete. You’ll know which version of Minecraft the mod is compatible with because the download link will explicitly say “Minecraft 1.7.3” or “Minecraft 1.8” or whatever patch it works with.

If you’re looking for something to add to your Minecraft experience, check it out!
